Whether you are part of the CHC subscription services for fun or to save you some time, one super important detail we need you to tell us is who you look to for style inspiration. We absolutely love working with our customers and introducing unique and special vintage garments to your wardrobes, so we ask these questions to make sure we're sending each of you clothes that you're comfortable wearing.

The good news is that we're here to help! Choosing personal style icons out of thin air can be difficult to do, especially when you like certain aspects of multiple people's style. And sometimes, different people have very different perceptions of a fashion icon's most well-known style. We want to provide a tool to ensure that we are always on the same page as our customers when discussing style icons.

We are excited to say that we are now featuring different style icons of all eras on social media, and particularly on Pinterest. Check out our Style Icons board to view some of the most famous style icons through history, and take a few minutes to go through each of their folders to see some of their most famous looks. As a new feature, we have begun adding various outfit boards as examples of how to make each of their styles into modern outfits. See Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy, Stevie Nicks, and many more to come soon. Learn about some of their most iconic fashion moments, and use their outfit boards to inspire your own wardrobe!

While you're on our Pinterest, check out our fashion decades boards, which currently range from the 1940s through the 1990s. See dozens of fashion pictures on each to get a good feeling for each decade. Use these to inspire your own outfits, and discover what you really love about fashion in history. Who knows, maybe these will even change what styles of vintage clothing you'd like to order from us in the future!

We want to connect with all of you! Follow us for style inspiration, vintage fashion ideas, and so much more.

Halloween Edition: Becoming Audrey Hepburn

Nicole Couch

One of the most popular Halloween costumes is Audrey Hepburn's signature look in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Who wouldn't want to wear that amazing dress with all the diamonds and pearls accessories? Well, this Halloween you can, because CHC Vintage is going to help you turn into Audrey Hepburn and other characters from your favorite films!

Step 1: You need a dress with a certain shape. In Breakfast at Tiffany's, Audrey wears a dress with a distinct shape. It is has a scooped neck, it is sleeveless, and it hugs any curve she might have had. While we don't have a dress the exact same color, we do have a dress the exact same shape!

Step 2: The accessories. You have to find a tiara and long cigarette holder to pull off this look. Don't forget that statement pearl necklace along with the black gloves and diamond stud earrings.  For shoes, we went with the comfy look and kept the converse in. You can do that too! Mix it up and make this costume your own.

Step 3: Keep the makeup simple. For a fun night, keep yourself looking fresh. A light foundation and not a lot of blush or contour. The only thing you have to apply a lot of is mascara for that signature doe-eyed Audrey Hepburn look!

Summer 2016: How to Travel and Pack like a Pro

Nicole Couch

As we start the summer off, I’m sure many of us are planning a weekend away from our jobs and our everyday hectic lives. Whether you might be planning a vacation across the country or a place a couple of hours away, we can probably all agree that packing might be one of the hardest parts of traveling. I had an amazing opportunity to travel all around Europe last semester, and since the summer holidays are upon us, here are a couple tips on how to travel stylishly and comfortably.
